Digital Marketing Executive
Olubukola Adeniyi is the Digital Marketing Executive for Chocolate City Group. His expertise gives him oversight over the creation, implementation and execution of online campaigns for brands, keywords research for AdWords ad copy, improving business via organic & paid channels, optimization of pay per click (PPC) strategies for search and display marketing, creation of social media plan and editorial calendar for social media execution and boosting of fan base on Facebook and followers on Twitter.
Prior to his position as Digital Marketing Executive, he was the Social Media Assistant, a position under which he managed Chocolate City Group’s social media account and bid for third party social media projects for companies; rolled out social media promotional strategies for Chocolate City Group as provided by the Social Media Manager; promoted content on all Chocolate City owned or affiliate Platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, G+, Instagram and other social media platforms that are developed in the course of business. He was also Social Media Assistant for Chocolate City Music, a subsidiary of the group, where he oversaw its social media platforms, getting traction for the various platforms and help improve visibility of artiste’s songs. He also planned, strategized, wrote, reviewed and proof-read proposals and social media plans for the company.
Before joining Chocolate City, he was a Social Media Executive at Ripples Nigeria, where he handled their social media platforms and executed strategies and campaigns for all digital marketing efforts put forth by the company.
His ingenuity and proactiveness has earned him success on every project he has worked on and given him a rapid rise from assistant to executive within Chocolate City Group. He has interests in Football, Music, Business, Traveling, Internet and Movies.
Olubukola has a B.A in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and has earned certifications from Nigeria Institute of Management, Digital Marketing Institute (Ireland), Facebook Blueprint and Hubspot (Content Writing).
He is currently running a marketing course at Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK.
